Victory Ridge Academy Welcomes New Assistant Principal

Lake Wales, Florida, July 25, 2018 – Victory Ridge Academy is pleased to announce their new Assistant Principal, Dr. Amy Brown. Dr. Brown has worked in Polk and Hillsborough County as well as Florida Virtual School. She served students and schools in roles as a teacher, ESE Facilitator, Principal and in District Accountability. Dr. Brown earned her Doctor of Education and Masters of Educational Leadership and Administration Degree from Capella University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Business from the University of South Florida.
Dr. Brown has a passion for children and education and believes that students should always be at the center of every decision. The cornerstone of her educational philosophy is building relationships and focusing upon each child’s unique learning abilities and styles.

“Amy has a rich background in administration and ESE experience that we believe will be valuable as we continue to work towards Victory Ridge’s mission and vision,” said Debra Johnson, Principal at Victory Ridge Academy.

Victory Ridge Academy is a Title 1, 501 (c) (3) non-profit public charter school that exclusively serves children with special needs. Victory Ridge Academy is based on the belief of the administration, staff and Board of Trustees that early intervention is crucial to helping children and young adults with special needs to cultivate healthy lifestyles and grow into well-adjusted persons. It is the school’s belief that students need a safe, positive and nurturing learning environment to develop communication skills, social skills, academic and technical skills in order to build their self-confidence and become productive members of society.
