Polk County Public Schools Wants to Hear from You

Polk County Public Schools is administering a new Community Feedback Survey from May 8 to May 19, 2017 in order to gauge the public’s perception of the school district. Students, families, school and district staff, and all community members are invited to participate in this brief 5-10 minute survey. The survey is available online in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole.

The Community Feedback Survey is aligned with the fifth goal of Polk County Public Schools’ 2016-2021 Strategic Plan. The five goals of this Strategic Plan are, in summary:

  1. To become an “A” district,
  2. To increase the graduation rate,
  3. To decrease the dropout rate,
  4. To improve teacher retention, and,
  5. To improve the public’s perception of the school district.

The data gathered from this survey will create the baseline for Polk County Public Schools’ public perception as they attempt to improve their services and improve the quality of the education Polk County students receive. The district encourages everyone, whether they have a child enrolled in a public school or not, to participate in this critical survey.
